2025 PCI "welcome" video
This "Welcome" video, featuring 2021 Nobel winner, David MacMillan, was filmed on a simple green screen with a basic lighting setup—right in David's office! The dialogue was unscripted; editing was based on best performance and clarity/brevity of the information. Once the dialogue content was approved, the motion graphics were storyboarded out as stills in the video. The animation and final green screen key were executed in the final stages of post-production. Sourcing the right music was also key for tempo and pacing. It had to sound modern and energetic without distracting from the invitation or undermining the Princeton brand. The final video was published on social media where it has over 7.8K views on X as of 3/25/25.

2024 PCI "flash talk" cutdowns for social media
Marketing the 2025 PCI Symposia also included editing several faculty "Flash Talks" from the previous year. Selections were provided by the client and then further edited for performance and brevity. Motion graphics were added to enhance the presentation and also conceal necessary edits. What I loved most about making these videos was the allowance to have a little fun with graphics as seen in the video thumbnail below.
New animated PCI logo
Typically, a logo animation would be billed as a whole separate project. It might involve an additional team of designers and creative directors if you're working with an agency. Not when you're working with an experienced freelancer. It's all included with me!
